Flourish is a daily postpartum recovery ritual — an affirmation, a gentle check-in, and guidance matched to what you log. This page explains, plainly, what happens to what you enter. The short version: it stays on your phone.
What we never do
- We never see, upload, sync, sell, or share anything you enter in Flourish.
- No account, no sign-up, no login — we operate no servers for this app.
- No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No reading or writing of Apple Health data — Flourish does not use HealthKit.
What you enter, and where it lives
Flourish stores everything you enter on your own iPhone, in the app’s private storage:
- Your profile: first name (optional), delivery date, delivery type, feeding method, optional areas of concern, and a vegetarian meal preference.
- Daily check-ins: mood, feeling tags, postpartum symptoms with severity, energy level, and an optional note.
- Journal entries, completed meditations, recovery-checklist ticks and custom items, favorited affirmations, and an optional daily reminder time.
Mood and symptom entries are personal health information — and they stay on your device. We hold no copy. There is nothing for anyone to request, export, or delete from us, because we never receive it.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app from your iPhone deletes everything Flourish stored. That is the entire process — no emails, no forms, no waiting.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, your Flourish data may be included in that backup, like any app’s data. Backups are controlled by you and Apple — not by us.
Subscriptions
Flourish Plus ($9.99/month or $59.99/year with a 7-day free trial) is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card or billing details — only Apple’s anonymous, aggregate sales reporting. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Notifications
The optional daily reminder is scheduled locally on your phone. It sends nothing anywhere.
Support resources
Tapping a support resource in Flourish opens your Phone, Messages, or browser and hands you to that organization, whose own privacy practices then apply: Postpartum Support International (1-800-944-4773, postpartum.net, psidirectory.com), Crisis Text Line (741741), the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, La Leche League (llli.org), and ChoosePT (choosept.com).
Children
Flourish is made for mothers and is not directed at children.
Who we are
Flourish is made by Honey Badger Labs LLC, the company behind Minimalist Mama. On the App Store, Flourish is distributed under the Africapps LLC developer account. Questions about privacy: chief@hbadgerlabs.com.
Changes
If our practices ever change, this page will change with a new effective date. Given the app’s design — everything on your phone — we do not expect them to.
