First Time Elf on the Shelf Arrival Letter
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… and your little elfie is here for it!
If you’re like me, gearing up for your first Elf on the Shelf season, you will of course, need a first time Elf on the Shelf arrival letter.
Well then, you’re in the right place, because in planning for our home’s own Elf on the Shelf arrival, I created these super cute letters that you can print out and set up beside your little elf on the day that they arrive!
In creating these letters, I really did try to put together a few different designs so that there is something for everyone – from pink to blue to totally neutral, there are a whole handful of choices. You can also check out this Elf printable props package for more options and ideas.
As you scroll down, you can simple hit the download button below each of the images to download the standard 8½ x 11″ version of these letters, or scroll all the way to the bottom, and grab the smaller, half-sized version of these letters.

Now, time to get that letter printed.
I prefer printing our Elf on the Shelf arrival letter on this 8 1/2 x 11″ cardstock that you can just pop in to your regular printer at home, but you could definitely also print this just on regular printer paper, too.
Don’t have a printer?
Simply send the file to your local print centre and have them print it for you for a few cents.
How To Use Your First Time Elf On The Shelf Arrival Letter
The most simple way to welcome your Elf on the Shelf is to set your little guy up with an arrival letter – but there are also more elaborate spreads that you can put together, too!
Have you ever heard of a North Pole Breakfast?
A North Pole Breakfast is a sugar-filled, whimsical and typically over-the-top way to celebrate your elf’s arrival, and to kick off the Elf on the Shelf season for the year.
Lots of fun, bright Christmas decorations are laid out, and an exceptionally sweet and sprinkle-filled breakfast spread is usually served to celebrate (though you can of course, opt for healthy breakfast foods, too).
